Among the best brands coming out of Cuba, since 1980 the Trinidad Fundadores has been produced exclusively for Fidel Castro. The only boxes that left Cuba were gifts to foreign diplomats. On February of 1998, the brand was officially launched as an export in Trinidad, Cuba.
Initially made exclusively for Fidel Castro, with a perfect draw and combustion, those cigars considered between medium and strong have to look at this stick as it has become an exponent of its strength. As the format is thin, the smoker will be able to find more concentrated honey, espresso or vanilla flavours among some others.
This new release is an unprecedented vitola in the brand (Cañonazo Especial) only used previously in the 2011 Limited Edition, Cohiba 1966. With this world presentation, the Trinidad brand continues to show a clear commitment to strengthening its range of heavy ring gauge Habanos, joining its other two offerings, Trinidad Vigía and Topes.
The much anticipated Trinidad Vigia is the first new size to be introduced in many years.. The cigars, complete with their usual distinctive pigtails, are presented in SBN varnished boxes of 12 and boast an impressive 54 ring gauge, the heaviest girth to be found on any Trinidad cigar since the launch of the brand in 1998.
One of the best brands coming out of Cuba. This petit Corona is finished with a "perilla", excelent quality, taste and aroma. Great smoke with subtleness and complexity for real connoseurs. Would benefit of maturing for another two-three months.
